Special Effects Technician
Meg's journey began with a BA in Film and Television Studies, where her fascination with theatrical makeup sparked a career as a makeup artist. Over the last decade, Meg has refined her mastery in the art of crafting realistic prosthetic appliances, masks, puppets, creatures, props, and medical simulation mannequins. Her expertise spans a spectrum of skills, from casting silicone prosthetics to mold making, seaming, painting, and more. Her versatility positions her as a dynamic force in special effects fabrication.

In 2017, Meg journeyed to Los Angeles, earning certificates in prosthetics and special effects makeup from Cinema Makeup School. An internship at the school's lab marked a transformative phase, leading her to work at many of Hollywood's renowned special effects shops, including Alterian Ghost Factory and Fractured FX.

Beyond the studio, Meg is a true Renaissance soul. Her experiences extend beyond the realm of special effects—she's been a kids' summer camp counselor, a role where she nurtured young minds and created lasting memories. Her love for travel has taken her far and wide, with each destination adding a new layer to her creative palette.
As a rock climber, Meg finds solace in the heights, often venturing into the majestic landscapes of Yosemite National Park for camping and climbing adventures. Amidst it all, she loves sharing her life with her amazing partner, cat, and dog.
